About us

CHAKDAHA RAMLAL ACADEMY was upgraded to High School in 1907 and it’s era is counted as such, but, its origin lies in Kerani School founded in 1845 in adherence to Lord Macaulay’s Minute. In its long journey over a period of 17 decades it was first raised to Middle school in 1860s, then to High School, XI Class Higher Secondary School (1957) and finally to XII Class Higher Secondary School with co-ed in XI-XII (1976). It has produced Ramlal academicians among whom thousands are pursuing honest careers of choice, not with standing a galaxy of eminent scholars working in frontline areas in and outstanding India.

WHY ALUMNI?

CHAKDAHA RAMLAL ACADEMY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION founded in 2016 and registered on 4th February, 2017 aims at encouraging, fostering and promoting close relations among the alumni themselves and advancing a sustained sense of belonging to Alma Mater among the Alumni by being in regular contact with them and providing a forum for the Alumni to exchange ideas pertaining to academic, cultural and other relevant issues by organizing and coordinating reunion (get together) activities of the Alumni and, all the more, allowing the alumni acknowledge their gratitude to their Alma Mater.

Joining Chakdaha Ramlal Academy Alumni Association is one of the easiest ways to reconnect, give back to the school and serve as a springboard for further involvement.
